Lovely Amanda,

I know we have spoken and just want to say how happy and excited I am for you and Mark, and already thinking of little booties!

How did the news go down with your parent's?

love,

Barbara

Hey Amanda!

Thinking about you and wondering how your evening with your parents went. Do hope their concerns for your welfare didn't mar your happiness. Take care Amanda,

Hi,

I couldn't do it!! My Mam called when i was eating chili and I just couldn't tell her. I feel such a chicken and Mark really thinks I should tell them both tomorrow morning as today Samuel (10years but very young for age!) asked me why i was always being sick? Eeek.

I would love to tell them this weekend as it feels right so I will (most probably) ring my parents tomorrow morning in Mark's office. I hope they can understand me as I could barely breath when I tried to phone this evening.....

Thank you so much for all the lovely messages.

Much love,

Amanda

Hi Amanda

Fingers crossed for you. I hope you have been able to tell your Mum today and it's not still on your mind over the weekend. She will perhaps be shocked and worried for you but I'm sure she can see how sensible you are, and a fab Mum and wife. It's not something you've taken on board without thought and consideration for your whole family as well as yourself and she will realise this.

Samuel is clearly becoming concerned for you, bless him Smile

Here for you Amanda. Enjoy your weekend,

Lyn x

Hi Amanda

Loved reading your blog and will really enjoy keeping up to date with your progress. Hope the visit to the GP went well.

Just to add I was really poorly with sickness all the way through my first pregnancy, then when I had the twins (pregnancy no. 2) hardly any sickness at all, and pregnancy 3 felt well right through. You will know if it's twins by the size of the uterus which can be felt much earlier than normal. Early weight gain and constant nausea isn't indicative of twins! I'm sure you know your body well after five pregnancies!!

Take care,

Lyn x

Dear Lyn,

Thank you for your message, how interesting to dispel the myth that twins make one more sick! I never knew that. But I do not think in a million years I am carrying twins...much as the children would ADORE it!!!

The appointment went fine, I will write it on the blog in a moment. Just a query about a possible urine infection which threw me a little as I have no symptoms...Dr said he'll send it off for checking but is sure all is okay, and the key tones were in good working order...phew.

Love,

Amanda
